6 Days Aberdare, Mount Kenya, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara Safari

Day 01: Nairobi - Aberdare National Park.

Picked up at your hotel/airport by our representatives then drive northwards with views of tea and coffee plantations around the Aberdare ranges and Mount Kenya region. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the Treetops Lodge. A celebrity hotel located on the dense forest where the 50 rooms are either single or twin with shared bathroom facilities. However, private or en-suite bathrooms are available on request. All rooms overlook the two waterholes and the peaks of Mount Kenya. Guests under 7 years are not permitted. Night observation of animals at the lounge offers exiting animal viewing with easy photography and comfort. Night visitors expected are Rhinos, Elephants, lions, bushbuck, warthog and night birds.

Day 2: Aberdare-Mount Kenya

After breakfast you will have a short drive to Mount Kenya Safari Club. Day at leisure. Lunch, dinner & overnight at the Club, B, L, D.


Day 3: Mount Kenya-Lake Naivasha

Breakfast at the lodge then to descend into the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the Thompson Falls in Nyahururu. Then proceed to Lake Naivasha arriving on time for lunch. This is one of the Rift Valley's fresh water Lakes with different ecology from that of the soda Lakes. The lake is also a home to a large variety of bird species. Lunch at the camp/lodge then proceed to take a boat ride on the Lake, viewing hippos and a wealth of bird life.

Day 4:  Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara:

Breakfast at 0630hrs then leave the camp for Maasai Mara game reserve climbing out of the Rift Valley. Lunch at the camp/lodge and be ready to experience some of the best game drives in Kenya's most exciting game reserve.

Day 5. Masai Mara Safari

Morning and afternoon game drive. Sunrise and sundown are the greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains, a time where the soft red hues of the sun will give your photographs the clarity of the actual African savannah. Full board at Mara Safari Club or Mara Serena Lodge, B, L, D.

Optional activities:

-Visit to a local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour: US$ 25 per person

-Hot air balloon ride: US$ 425 per person

Day 06: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Morning game drives then back to the camp for breakfast. Later drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped in your hotel/airport.
